Cole Fisher is publicly accused by his wife, Amanda Lynn, of accepting a bribe. Exonerated, he discovers Amanda's affair with her cousin, Paul Shaw, and that his daughter, Annie, is not his. Cole uncovers their conspiracy to frame him. He divorces Amanda, leaving her with nothing, and makes Paul resign.
