Manhattan dancer Selena was preparing for the ballet lead selection when she was sabotaged by the studio founder, Monica. The custom shoes Monica sent were cursed, stealing Selena's dance talent and transferring it to her daughter Molly, who suffers from ataxia. Selena was seriously injured during the selection, ruining her career, and when she fell, she glimpsed the truth and unexpectedly was reborn on the day she received the shoes. She pretended to accept the shoes while seeking help from a white witch to rewrite the spell and reverse the curse, all while investigating Monica’s past, discovering she had harmed two other dancers before. The curse backfired, worsening Molly’s condition, and in fear, Molly confessed everything. In the end, Selena gathered all the evidence, exposed the plot at the selection, Monica was arrested by the magical authorities, Molly passed away, and Selena reclaimed the lead position through her own talent, taking back her stage life.
