Five years ago, Ava Miller, the former Luna of the werewolf town of Raven Creek, was framed by her best friend Selene Graves for "cheating". Pregnant with child, she was publicly rejected by her beloved Alpha Rowan Blackwood when he refused their mate bond, and was forced to leave Blackwood Ranch.
After Ava left, Rowan was put under the "Moon-Sleep Curse" by Selene and slumbered for years. Selene disguised herself as the savior who awakened the Alpha, becoming Rowan's nominal fiancée.
Five years later, Ava has raised their son Finn alone. Finn's werewolf lineage begins to awaken, and the unique moon mark of the Blackwood family emerges on his collarbone. Rowan returns to Raven Creek, reuniting with Ava and Finn. While he resents Ava for her "betrayal" back then, he is drawn to the familiar aura emanating from Finn.
