A blunder by rental agent Su Xiaoyu, who leased the same apartment to two different people, forces the meticulous and rule-abiding Chen Yue to become roommates with the free-spirited artist Lin Feng. They establish a strict "Roommate Agreement," only to find an unexpected chemistry blossoming amidst their daily friction—from battles over the fridge and hogging the bathroom to dealing with their landlord's surprise visits.
From being forced to cooperate during crises to complementing each other for professional success, and from nursing one another through sickness to offering late-night support, these initial "enemies" gradually start to fall for each other.
