Only Ronan Sutton believes and protects Jocelyn. They hide from the monster. Ethan, Tanya, and others are selfish, hunted. Jocelyn and Ronan uncover Ronan protected her. Ronan dies protecting Jocelyn. Jocelyn faces the monster alone, using reborn memories, and survives, becoming the sole survivor.
