Susan discovers his malicious fiancée, Melody Dalton, causes trouble for the Fordhams. The Dalton family seeks Fordham's codex. A final boss threatens Fordham descendants for the codex. To save her great-granddaughter, Susan hands over the codex, laced with white phosphorus, which self-ignites. The Fordhams and Susan defeat the villain.
