At a village well, Flora is pushed in by her cruel mother-in-law and left to die. Just as death closes in, a white dragon saves her and heals her in a hidden stone chamber with sacred spring herbs. When Flora wakes, three old ring-shaped scars on the dragon awaken her memory: it is the creature she once saved years ago.
