Mom & Dad: I Became the Savage Wolf You Craved tells the story of Elara, heir to the millennium-old White Wolf bloodline of the wolf clan. Gentle and kind by nature, she is despised and abused by her parents—the Alpha and Luna of the clan—who push her to be cruel and bloodthirsty, even casting her into the Blood Moon Coliseum filled with feral mad wolves to “harden” her. Lyra, an adopted human girl, is secretly the daughter of the Dark Witch. She uses dark magic to fake a wolf spirit, seizes Elara’s birthright as heir, and brutally stabs Elara to death in the coliseum with a silver blade.
The Dark Witch turns Elara’s corpse into a mindless undead puppet forced to kill, disguising it as Elara having “evolved into a savage wolf” to win her parents’ approval. Only when the truth is exposed do her parents realize they have driven their only daughter—who alone could save the wolf clan—to her death. In the end, they meet their demise amid remorse and vengeance.
A heartbreaking tale of twisted reversal, it lays bare the despair of being misunderstood, abandoned, and sacrificed by one’s own flesh and blood, and reveals that belated repentance can never heal irreversible wounds.
