Leo Ford is kicked into Lock Dragon Well by village bully Devlin Doyle. As he drowns, memories of his past life flood him: mother Wendy Ford died, home/boat seized by Devlin Doyle, sea sold to Kane, villagers died from pollution. At the well's bottom, he touches a pearl, is reborn, and obtains the Hydrofuge Pearl, awakening water control abilities. He vows to save his mother, imprison Devlin Doyle, collect remaining Sea Spirit Pearls, prevent marine catastrophe, and protect the sea.
