While visiting family graves, a modern shop owner is transported into a famine-stricken past—with her entire supermarket and a barter system attached. By trading supplies for information, she locates her own grandparents as young people and arrives just in time to save her grandmother during childbirth. She shelters the newborn who will one day become her father, secretly supplies her grandfather’s resistance outpost, and helps defend their grain stores. When the base is destroyed, she spends every point she has to reset the disaster. Together, they defeat the traitors and develop drought-resistant wheat. Returning home, she discovers that her ancestors remembered their mysterious benefactor all along.
