On the eve of her wedding, Persephone, the Goddess of Spring, is betrayed by the nymph Minthe, stripped of her divinity, and cursed into a nameless mortal. Centuries later, Hades, the King of the Underworld, finds her and marries her, oblivious to her forgotten identity.
To protect her from dark plots, Hades makes Minthe his Queen and demotes his true love to a despised concubine—even forcing her to drink an abortifacient. In absolute despair, her supreme divinity awakens, revealing the brutal truth. After taking her bloody revenge, she severs ties with Hades and erases his memory. Yet, tied by an unyielding soul-bond, the god and goddess are destined to meet again, binding the seasons to their tragic love.
