Kaelen discovers Lyra is a hybrid—her blood is the only cure for the werewolf virus. He offers her a deal: full funding for her studies in exchange for living with him and providing blood. Lyra moves into his institute and slowly gains confidence as Kaelen dismantles her bullies. But Damon Walker, a rival CEO, wants her blood too.
