As a child, Liam Hughes was kidnapped but saved by Ivy Hill. In gratitude, he gave her a jade pendant and made a marriage promise. However, he was sent abroad by his family for treatment, and when he returned, he lost all track of Ivy Hill. Years later, Liam Hughes takes over his family's restaurant while desperately searching for Ivy Hill. Meanwhile, following her grandfather's instructions, Ivy Hill leaves their home on the mountain to gain experience, and ends up becoming the head chef at Liam Hughes' restaurant. Upon arrival, she is mistaken for a beggar by Leah Miller and others, leading to an argument where she accidentally bumps into Liam Hughes and falls into his arms. Surprisingly, Liam Hughes, who's allergic to physical contact with strangers, doesn't react to her touch. Little does he know, Ivy Hill is the savior he has been searching for all along.
