Five years ago, clinical psychotherapist Amelia Hart drunkenly wandered into Ravenscroft Bloodrose Castle. There she saw a man with crimson eyes and fangs, who shunned sunlight and was bound in chains—but she mistook him for a severe case of "vampire delusion syndrome." That night, she inadvertently soothed the blood-thirst crisis of Gabriel Ravenscroft, a pureblood vampire prince, and was marked by him with the Bloodrose Blood Pact.
The next day, Amelia left in haste because her mother was critically ill. Her mother passed away that week, leaving behind mountains of medical debt. Five years later, she was raising five extraordinary children on her own: they were photosensitive, favored a dark red "hemoglobin nutrient solution," and would reveal fangs, crimson eyes, and tiny black wings when emotional. To support her five treasures and repay the debt, Amelia took on a high-paying therapeutic position at Ravenscroft Castle. She only felt that the patient's eyes and voice were vaguely familiar—but did not recognize him as the man from five years ago.
Gabriel recognized Amelia at once, but did not reveal it immediately. He deliberately played along with her treatments, just to keep her by his side. The five children were secretly brought into the castle and, on multiple occasions, only appeared as fleeting silhouettes, scents, and heartbeats—arousing Gabriel's suspicion. It was not until Episode 10 that he fully saw the five treasures' crimson eyes, fangs, black wings, and Bloodrose wrist markings, and confirmed they were his own children.
However, Lilith—daughter of a vampire count and secretly in love with Gabriel—could not accept a human therapist becoming the prince's consort, nor could she accept five children seizing the inheritance. She orchestrated a trap to capture Amelia and the children, and during the Ravenscroft bloodline verification ceremony, she contaminated the ancestral blood chalice, causing the test to falsely show that the five treasures were not of Ravenscroft blood. In the subsequent events, the truth was gradually uncovered. Lilith was stripped of her status and exiled, but she escaped captivity by wielding forbidden necromantic power, kidnapped the five treasures, and drove the story toward a new crisis.
