In the 21st century, Abby Price faces a strange man during a blind date and storms off, only to tragically die in a car accident. Unexpectedly, she is reborn in the 1990s as Abby Brock, a timid girl from a rural village. The former Abby was meek and easily bullied, and when Abby crossed over, she was ridiculed by villagers as a woman nobody wanted. But the modern Abby is a woman of the new era, not one to be controlled by her ignorant family. To appease them, she marries Eugene West, and she gradually falls in love with him over time spent together.
