Watson is the first heir to the V family, a prominent lineage of vampires. Due to an alliance between his family and the Werewolf Clan, his father arranged for him to be apprenticed to the "Blood Wolf"—a figure known as Charlo. Naturally somewhat withdrawn, Watson initially resented this arrangement; however, as time passed, he came to recognize Charlo’s genuine care for him and began to admire his mentor’s formidable strength. Gradually, feelings of both affection and dependence took root in his heart.
Yet, this happiness was short-lived. Shortly after Watson presented Charlo with a token of his affection, Charlo was dispatched on a critical mission. This operation ended in disaster, with the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Squads of the "Well Bureau" falling victim to a brutal ambush. Rushing to the scene to find his mentor, Watson intercepted a lethal blow aimed at Charlo by a "Demon"—taking the full force of the attack himself and sustaining critical injuries. When he finally regained consciousness, the Demons had been completely annihilated, but his mentor had vanished without a trace.
Years later, Watson officially joined the Well Bureau and began investigating the true circumstances behind that fateful incident. During his investigations, he crossed paths with Charlo—now operating as a freelance "Bounty Wizard." Unaware that this man was, in fact, his former mentor, the Blood Wolf, Watson nonetheless felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity deep within his soul.
