Yellow sand suddenly gushes from a dry well in a mansion. After Cole fills it with water, he opens a space-time tunnel to an ancient border fortress. General Anya's army is deeply surrounded and in imminent danger. He continuously sends modern rations, armor, and equipment, repeatedly helping the defending army escape their predicament and stabilizing the tunnel between the two worlds. Thus begins a story of cross-temporal mutual assistance.
