But the flight is delayed when Kim — mother of Jessica, who’s engaged to Derek’s grandson Erik — goes to the bathroom. When Shaun urges them to hurry, Jessica humiliates him. After takeoff, Kim suffers a heart attack, and Shaun saves her, breaking her ribs in the process. Ungrateful, Jessica demands Shaun apologize in a humiliating way.
