Faye Collins' husband, Ken Ford, is involved in a fatal hit-and-run. To protect him, Faye frames her brother, Cole Collins, who is sentenced to prison. Upon his release, Cole learns Faye has died, leaving her daughter, Nina, orphaned. Cole initially refuses to care for his niece, but eventually accepts her. Ken Ford suddenly shows up to take Nina back. Cole soon discovers Ken's plan: to sell his own daughter to an Acrobatics Troupe for money!
