In 2026, crimson fog sweeps the world and turns most humans into zombies whose brains hold power-bearing cores. Timid mechanic Logan Cross is betrayed and thrown to undead by his girlfriend Tiffany and friend Jason. Near death, he unlocks the Devour ability to steal mutants’ powers such as metal manipulation and super speed. After killing the local Zombie King, Logan evolves into a B-Tier Destroyer and gains an aura that controls all corpses. He recruits Ada, a blade-wielding undead warrior, as his loyal queen. When the two traitors come back to plunder, Logan locks them up for mutation research. Crossing the wasteland, he finds ancient medieval undead and human’s underground Ark shelter at Rift Zero, the fog’s origin. Absorbing source energy pushes Logan to peak A-Tier. He battles quasi S-Tier Arthur. Ada sacrifices her core to help Logan break through to S-Tier with Conceptual Deprivation, which erases enemies’ rules and powers. Logan crushes six artificial human gods, then fights Prime, an omnipotent being who can rewrite all natural laws and almost eliminates him. Saved by a special fragment left by Ada, Logan clashes with Prime all the way to space. Their huge fight ends the fog disaster. A baby with Logan’s scarlet eyes and metallic marks is found later, marking a new world born from devouring.
