Lynn, a college student back from a two-year London exchange, expects her graduation and her father Fabio’s wedding to Stephany on the same day. However, Stephany mistakes Lynn for Fabio’s mistress after seeing a photo of them (the luxury bag in it is Lynn’s graduation gift), and launches a brutal revenge. She livestreams false accusations, incites cyberbullying, assaults Lynn in her dorm, and drags her to the graduation stage—where she pours sulfuric acid on Lynn, burning her severely. Just as Lynn despairs, Fabio arrives, reveals Lynn is his daughter, and stops Stephany. Stephany is later tried and sentenced to ten years in prison for intentional harm, cyber violence incitement and property damage. Though scarred physically and mentally, Lynn survives, supported by her father, as they move forward from the trauma.
