Internal strife among the clan's island lords had only worsened the situation. When the late Shadow King was assassinated, he entrusted his final wishes to his secretly trained disciple—Jere, the Emperor of the Phantom Syndicate, the most infamous assassin guild in the world. Jere was tasked with uncovering the truth behind the assassination and seeking vengeance for his fallen mentor.
