Serena Langdon, terminally ill, returns to transfer assets to her son, Ian Sinclair, but is mistaken for a mistress by her daughter-in-law, Tina Wallace, and harmed. Serena learns Tina is a gold-digger, tries to expose her, but is kidnapped and nearly murdered by Tina. Tina is imprisoned, and Ian repents, caring for his mother. Serena recovers thanks to a miracle drug, and the mother and son devote to charity, living happily.
