She befriends four beastman partners: peacock Hayden, black panther Zane, white tiger Lachlan, and Eagle Clan chief Rafe. Serena uses her modern knowledge (pottery, salt, medical skills) to improve the tribe's living standard and save lives. She gains their approval and becomes the tribe's darling.
