Reyne Wolf, commander of the Northern Legion, is betrayed by his second-in-command, Cassius, and left crippled and mindless after a near-fatal fall. Selena Victor, heir of the Victor family, takes him in and cares for him. Three years later, Reyne regains his mind and awakens the Wolf God's power within him. He sets out for revenge and gathers the three sacred relics: the Frost Wolf's Heart, the Moonfang, and the Horn of the North Wind. With the help of the Frost Wolf Clan and his surviving Northern Legion brothers, he crushes the Martin family's siege and reclaims the North. In the end, Reyne forges the Wolf God's Blade, descends into the Abyss, and seals Nyx within the sword. But the seal is slowly weakening—and the final battle has yet to come.
