Tim Shaw, decisive in action and shrewd-minded, comes out to see the world at his master's request. He falls in love with the heroine, Rosie Golding, at first sight. After curing Rosie of a rare illness, he starts to do the best he can to protect her. Through a series of dramatic events, he first acts as an underdog and then successfully turns the tide, bringing the wicked to justice and upholding righteousness. He ends up being together with Rosie.
