Reborn before the zombie apocalypse, Remi cuts ties with her father. With uncle Shen Xiao, she uses inheritance to build a doomsday fortress. When the world collapses, her betraying father, Lin Guofu, arrives, begging refuge. Remi watches coldly as they struggle outside. Lin Guofu is used as bait, thrown into a zombie horde; the Lin family is destroyed. Stepping on their ashes, Remi builds her new world.
