Fisherman Cole Gordon encounters a mishap at sea, and his hard work comes to nothing. He then suffers the loss of his loved ones and his mother falls gravely ill, plunging him into a desperate situation. By chance, he obtains an ancient nautical logbook. He and his friend rebuild their fishing boat and set sail on the waves towards a new life.
