High school girl Riley Brooks was mercilessly kicked out of her home after coming out as a lesbian to her devoutly religious mother. She had no choice but to move in with her father. Fortunately, her father’s blended family—including her gentle stepmother Nora, her fiercely protective stepbrother Nolan, and her sweet little sister Mia—welcomed her warmly and gave her a safe haven.
