Jia Woods runs into her senior, Lucas Lu, then boards the Route 22 bus. The driver, Zhao Kun, warns her not to talk to the dead, claiming Lucas Lu is dead. That night, her best friend, Yara Zhu, shows up, but has no shadow. Jia fends them off. The next day, she learns the Route 22 driver died. She meets Lucas Lu again. He reveals Yara Zhu is a ghost who died in a car accident.
