Irara, the heir of Storm Crown Academy, carries the sealed ancient phoenix fire. Her mother made an exception and assigned the fire dragon Raon and the frost dragon Sylas as her exclusive guardian dragons. But ever since the student Leila appeared, the two dragons always rushed to her tears first, repeatedly leaving the injured and feverish Irara behind. Leila destroyed the only spark keeping Irara alive, and Raon and Sylas even clashed swords with her, completely shattering all her expectations. Heartbroken, Irara tore up the two guardian contracts and went alone to the forbidden zone, choosing the imprisoned Ancient Primordial Storm Dragon King, Kael. Free from any contract and able to leave at any time, Kael voluntarily formed an equal life-and-death bond with her, saving Irara, who was on the brink of a core explosion, with half of his dragon heart. The two ventured into the Misty Gorge together, accidentally stumbled into a time town trapped by sorrow, and unraveled decades of the Ash Phoenix’s emotional knots. Returning, they overthrew the academy’s unjust servitude-based dragon contracts, ultimately achieving a mutual, chosen love, and wrote a new chapter of partnership between humans and ancient dragons.
