Leora is the sole survivor of the Nightrose vampire clan. She carries an age-reversal curse: she was born with an elderly appearance, while vampires worship eternal beauty above all else. Because of this, she has been regarded by her own kind as an “ominous monster” since childhood.
In addition, her blood possesses a special toxicity, making her a target coveted by the major vampire houses. They all seek to use her blood to create poisonous weapons and strengthen their own family power. To escape endless pursuit, Leora spends years on the run and eventually hides in the slums of New York.
At the age of fifteen, Leora is cornered by vampire hunters from rival houses. Just as she is pushed to the brink, she encounters Leon, the young heir of the Italian mafia Carranza family, who saves her. From that moment on, the two form a powerful bond, and Leon takes her under his protection.
Years later, both Leora and Leon turn eighteen. Leon’s ambitious uncle, determined to seize control of the family, secretly colludes with the Smith vampire family. They make a deal: the head of the Smith family will help him take power, and in return, Leon’s uncle will hand Leora over to the Smiths for blood experiments.
Leon’s uncle plans to strike during Leon’s grand eighteenth birthday banquet. However, Leon has already uncovered the conspiracy and prepared a countermeasure. He deliberately engineers an explosion and fire, making everyone believe that Leora has died in the flames. In truth, he secretly has the unconscious Leora disguised as dead and safely sent to Miami.
Leon’s uncle’s plan completely fails. As a result, he loses the support of the Smith family, and his power is greatly weakened. From that point on, he harbors a deep hatred for Leon.
Fifteen years later, Leora rises step by step in Miami and becomes the underground financial queen who controls the lifeline of the local underworld economy. Meanwhile, thirty-three-year-old Leon has firmly secured his position as the godfather of the New York mafia, wielding overwhelming power.

In the process, they uncover the truth: the so-called curse is actually a royal vampire seal, and Leora is the rightful heir to the vampire throne.
In the end, they slaughter all their enemies, unite the underworld across Europe and America, and break the curse on Leora. With her youthful appearance restored, she remains by Leon’s side and accompanies him through the rest of his life as he grows old.
