Harvard student Leah, in an attempt to save her critically ill brother, encounters Evelyn, the head of a mafia gang, at a club, and the two become entangled in a passionate encounter. Due to a misunderstanding, Leah gets into a physical altercation with Evelyn and is framed by her enemies, but Evelyn saves her. Evelyn helps her resolve the crisis, helps her return to school, and the two clear up a long-standing misunderstanding about their unrequited love. The White Family, the mastermind behind the scheme, is defeated by Ethan, and Evelyn protects Leah, ultimately proposing to her.
