Raina was sent to a so-called "reform school" by her fiancé Lucian, where she endured a full year of beatings, abuse, electric shocks and mob violence. When she begged Lucian for help, he was traveling abroad with the fake heiress Elaine and hung up the call indifferently. Raina's only friend Kate died right before her eyes from a miscarriage, and Raina completely broke down, retreating into the depths of her personality.
Waking up in her place was the second personality, "Ophelia" — a deranged individual with antisocial tendencies. Ophelia fought violence with violence, striking fear into every single one of her abusers. A year later, Ophelia walked out of the school under Raina's identity. She put on an obedient front while secretly gathering evidence, and exploited Lucian's guilt to strip him of everything step by step. She exposed Elaine's lie: the person who saved Lucian all those years ago was Raina, not Elaine. When the truth came to light, Lucian was overwhelmed with remorse, but it was far too late. He suffered a complete mental breakdown and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital, while Elaine died accidentally in a conflict with her adoptive parents.
However, the story does not end there. The real Raina actually has three personalities: Ophelia is in charge of protecting her, Aurora bears all the pain, and the true "Raina" is the one who killed her adoptive parents and masterminded everything. After deceiving everyone, even she can no longer tell which version of herself is the real one.
