At the monster hunter school S.C.C.A.M. High, student Zeb dreams of becoming a true magician, idolizing the legendary Professor Hannigan alongside his friend Andi. Bullied by the school tyrant Palmer, the three end up in detention after a conflict, only to encounter a mass escape of all imprisoned monsters. Professor Hannigan and another student are captured.
