Paige, a single mother, moves to Cinderwood with her son Jaxon after his school exclusion and her husband's affair. There, she meets Callen, who strongly resembles Jaxon's missing father, Ryder. Ryder reappears, revealing he's a wolf shifter and Jaxon's father, having left years ago after his first shift to protect Paige. Paige, initially terrified, agrees to stay for Jaxon's sake, as he also possesses shifter potential and needs his pack. She discovers she's fated to both Ryder and Callen. After an intimate night with them, Callen is severely injured by hunters. Remy, initially hostile, and Parker, reveal they are also Paige's fated mates. Overwhelmed by these revelations and her growing feelings for all four men, Paige grapples with her new supernatural reality, prioritizing Jaxon's safety and belonging within the pack.
