Lily, a young girl, secretly fell in love with Logan, a wealthy medical genius. She accidentally overheard him say she was just a pastime, and heartbroken, she vanished. She changed her name to Emily and gave birth to her daughter Sophie alone, who suffered from heart disease. She forged records claiming she was dead to stay out of his sight. Seven years later, they cross paths when Sophie needs medical treatment. Logan recognizes Emily from their unique shared habits.
