Why Was The Love Gone

Jacob and Kathy were a loving couple until a phone call made him believe she married him for money while loving someone else. His ex-girlfriend Cindy lied about having had leukemia, and out of guilt, he trusted her even when she repeatedly framed Kathy. In a car accident, he abandoned the severely injured Kathy to save Cindy first and even forced Kathy to donate blood for Cindy, causing her to die from excessive blood loss. Afterward, their six-year-old daughter Mabel suffered abuse from Cindy and neglect from Jacob. Kathy's brother Richard tried to seek justice with Mabel but failed every time. Cindy pushed down Jacob's grandmother Rena, who knew the truth, and sowed discord between them, leading Jacob to even propose to Cindy.
