Years later, Cain came back, reopened his late father’s smithy, yet faced townsfolk’s animosity and Captain Bryce’s oppression. He earned respect through formidable power while collecting proof of his frame‑up. Teaming up with ex‑cavalryman Gareth, he exposed Lord Ron’s scheme: Ron framed Cain to safeguard his status after his own son’s accidental death. Cain stormed the manor and punished those culprits.
Retaliating mastermind merchant Vance sent thugs, killing Cain’s lover Ella’s father. Unappreciative locals laid blame on them. Disillusioned, Cain withdrew to a valley with Ella. He finally apprehended Vance for justice, abandoned vengeful rage, married Ella and raised children. Building a garden and smithy there, the furious avenger became a tranquil blacksmith.
